Every time I moved the mouse, everything would stutter, including in Windows. If I didn't use the mouse, then it didn't seem to be an issue. Not installing the high definition audio drivers fixed it, and then the radiator in the card died, and I didn't have the same issue after putting in the new card.
I have a strong hunch that there's some conflict between Nvidia HD Audio and Realtek HD Audio drivers. Disabling one or both of the drivers tends to get rid of the stuttering. Nvidia HD Audio driver reinstalls itself though. I've reinstalled my Nvidia drivers, cleaning out using the DDU and deselecting the audio drivers on installation. I've been doing some preliminary testing on my new AMD RX Vega 64 Nitro + with a full standby memory in Battlefield 1 64 player conquest and to my surprise I am not getting any stuttering with the AMD card, this used be very sensitive to the problem and stutter severely on my GTX 1080 when the standby memory was full.
